Буэнос-Айрес, 27 ноября 2025 г. (NA) — Муниципалитет Мерлода starting this Tuesday with "Experiencia Maradona", a five-day cultural event that will combine screenings, exhibitions, and live music to remember Diego Armando Maradona, on the fifth anniversary of his death.
On Friday, writer Hernán Russo Zyseskind, author of "D10S es argentinos: de la Paternal al mundo", will join in an open dialogue about the construction of the Maradonian myth. The closing, on Saturday the 29th, will include an exhibition by visual artist Rubén Cisneros, a screening of the short film "CAM1LO" by director Luis Gagnolo, and a concert by local musician Pablo Merletti with a repertoire inspired by milestones and songs associated with the popular idol.
From the Culture area, they highlighted that "Experiencia Maradona" is part of a series of commemorative actions for the anniversary of the death of the 10 and aims to "recover, through art and popular memory, the figure of a football but also social and cultural symbol for several generations of Argentines".
The opening will be in charge of photographer Jorge Boido with his exhibition "Solo el pueblo", while on the second day the collective documentary "#Eldocumentaldel10", made by more than 40 directors, will be screened. On Thursday, it will be the turn of documentarian Carlos Tolosa, who will present "El Diego: de niño carente a mito" and the book of the same name, with a tour of murals, poems, and images linked to the former captain of the National Team.
The activities will take place until Saturday the 29th at the Municipal Theater Library, at Colón 600, with free admission. According to what Noticias Argentinas agency learned, the programming will extend daily from 5 to 8 p.m. and will include photographic exhibitions, documentaries, book presentations, visual arts, and musical shows.
